Blackbeard's Beard Oil + It's Benefits

Blackbeard's Beard Oil

What's in it?

Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Walnut Oil, Vitamin E and Fragrance.

Sweet Almond Oil
Helps give the much-needed hydration to your hair that helps them look shiny, and feel soft. The essential fatty acids in almond oil help in not only moisturizing the scalp or beard but also the hair strands themselves, thus leading to healthy hair.

Jojoba Oil
This oil can be used as a moisturizer for the scalp or beard and give you added protection against dryness, breakage, and split ends.

Because it strengthens hair, it is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness. The idea behind this is that the oil moisturizes hair follicles, which prevents dryness that leads to hair loss.

Jojoba is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, including vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin E, copper, and zinc.

Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
When applied topically to your hair, there’s several purported benefits of using vitamin E oil: It can stimulate capillary growth in your scalp, with in turn supports hair growth; it prevents breakage and pesky split ends and its antioxidants even boost hair’s elasticity and shine.

Walnut Oil
From eliminating dandruff to highlighting and adding shine to hair color, this oil has been touted as a great oil for hair, scalp and beard. With its anti-fungal properties, walnut oil is a viable option for scalp and facial skin health and relieving an irritated or infected scalp or facial skin. Conditions like eczema and psoriasis are often hard to manage, but walnut oil can help relieve the discomfort.

Since Omega-3s help with preventing cell damage, some use walnut oil either alone or in concoction to fight hair loss. The potassium in walnut oil helps in regeneration of those cells and may accelerate hair growth.
